In-Product Agents run inside an existing product through xpander APIs. They receive requests from a product, use tools and skills to complete work, and return structured outputs that can be rendered inside that product’s UI.

When to use an In-Product Agent

Use an In-Product Agent when the experience should live inside a product you already have, rather than in a standalone Agentic Application - for example, adding agent-powered answers or actions into your own app.

What they return

Because the product owns the interface, In-Product Agents focus on returning structured outputs the product can display - not a chat surface of their own.
