The laptop strip
Under the composer, a strip shows what the next message can use on this computer:- On this Mac: the conversation runs on this computer, so agents can use your trusted folders. When the computer is offline the strip shows that instead, and agents work in the cloud only.
- Folders: the trusted folder, or how many are trusted (Trust a folder while none is). Click it to see them, switch each between Read and Read & write, choose the folder for new files, stop trusting one or add another.
- Shell on: agents can run commands on this computer. Shell unavailable means commands cannot run here, for example on Windows today.
- Move to cloud and Bring back: hand the conversation to the cloud and take the work back. See Move to the cloud and back.
